Free extended hours

Camp hours that
match work hours

Standard camp days end at 3 or 4pm — right when most parents are still at work. Our extended hours stretch the day from 7:30am drop-off to 6pm pick-up, supervised by the same counselors your kids already know.

And it's free. No forms, no fees, no "late minute" billing. Early birds get playground time and breakfast club; night owls get board games, stargazing and the famous 5pm capture-the-flag.

What extended hours look like

Breakfast club, 7:30–9:00

Cereal, fruit and drawing tables in the lodge while groups gather. Quiet, cozy and caffeinated for the grown-ups dropping off.

After-camp play, 3:00–5:00

Playground, four-square, craft leftovers and free swim for middles and seniors. Juniors get story time and the sandbox.

Twilight hour, 5:00–6:00

All-camp capture-the-flag, stargazing on clear nights and the day's last snack. Many kids beg to stay for this.

Same staff, same rules

Extended hours are run by daytime counselors, with the nurse on site and the same sign-out and ID checks as pick-up.

Extended-hours questions

Do we need to register in advance? +

No. Just tell the morning counselor your pick-up plan, or call the hotline by 2pm. The gate list updates automatically.

Is dinner provided at 6pm pick-up? +

A 5pm snack is included; dinner isn't. Twilight-hour kids eat hearty snacks — fruit, cheese, granola — to bridge the gap home.

What if I'm running late past 6pm? +

Call us. A counselor stays with your child, and the first two late pick-ups each summer carry no charge — life happens.
